I should think that the Homosex crowd will be up in arms.
Homosex folk like to do their thing in public places, like washrooms in parks, airports, &c. It is just part of the lifestyle. So what Heteros think of as vulgar display, the Homos think of as normal human behaviour.

It is Labour Day weekend and I am up to my eyeballs in work.

The British academic union has announced a boycott of all contacts with Israeli universities. In North America, there has been widespread outrage at this trahison des clercs, and I have (actually quite early on) added my name to a protest organized by these people, Scholars for Peace in the Middle East.
