Sleepy Old Bear Diaries

Quasi-Hibernation time …

Posted by: sleepyoldbear on: 14 November 2008

… for Sleepy Old Bear. Emphasis in that order.

I am really busy and pre-occupied with my book, Narratives of the Religious Self in Early-Modern Scotland, which has been accepted for publication by Ashgate. Today I found that Chapter 3 needs a thorough re-organization, so that alone will keep me going for a few days. But over all I am quite happy with it, and hope to have it gone before Christmas.

I am also burned out by my political passions over the past few weeks, so I am going to go take a break for a couple of weeks.

I may, of course, like any bear, crawl out from time to time, but please don’t expect much.

See ya’ later.

We look forward to getting autographed copies.

At about $125 per ?

Nothing for me. The book is too long to produce royalties.

Hope you’re well fattened up. Cold weather is coming up anyway, so it’s as good a time as any to go hibernate.

Work hard on your book, Sleepy Old. You keep putting out scholarly works and we’ll keep reading ‘em; you betcha!! Good work, David. Take a nap, eh?
