The Stillman stirreth.

So far no sign that Dion recognizes that the only honourable thing left
for him to do is to slink away and fall on his sword.  I doubt he’ll hang on
for long, but if he does the Libs will need to run two conventions
instead of one, thus spending more money they don’t have.

I am of the opinion now that the Tories have launched a battle of
attrition.  They have cut the Liberal income by shrinking the number of
votes they can collect money on.  Furthermore, they forced the Liberals
to borrow more money to run the campaign.  This has pushed them deeper
into debt and slashed revenue.  Lastly, the Liberal leadership hopefuls
are still in debt from the last round — this will push them further
into the hole.  I suspect Dion may be ruined as I believe he still has a
massive debt from his leadership run.  How will he ever pay it off.  No
wonder he pushed and then told off a CTV reporter last night!  Not to
mention the law suit he has yet to fight.  I hear a song: “suicide is
painless…”

It was wonderful listening to their overwhelming disappointment
stemming from their sense of entitlement. Dosanjh was the best.  

He bashed the electorate and said they should force the NDP to vote

for the government this time.  He almost lost his seat–too bad he didn’t.  

Lastly the NDP has nothing to brag about.  They got the same percentage
of vote as always: between 18 and 20.  ”I’m Jack Layton and I’m running
for Prime Minister.”  Ha!  You finished fourth, you slimy socialist git.

All in all I’m impressed that the Tories managed to climb back to 38%.
I think they are safe for another three years.  Now that the Liberals
are facing financial collapse it might just be time to remove the
campaign spending limit as it goes against free speech.  My only regret
is that they were not more aggressive in the campaign.

paint and body damage’ is the result of a one-quarter- second burst by

the fighter’s 20 mm gun, which fires about 3000 rounds per minute. An

estimated 70 rounds left the gun; the results are as you see here.

What’s even more astonishing is the SUV was being driven at the time.

The driver and the guy in the right-hand passenger seat escaped with

some light glass injury to the driver, and a dislocated shoulder to

the passenger. The shots hit the gas tank, but didn’t explode; the gas

just leaked out. The passenger who normally sits in the back seat had

just moved to another vehicle. 

The vehicle was on the military reservation, but a full three miles

away from the gunnery range. 

The pilot is probably busily writing ‘I WILL NOT ENGAGE SOFT CIVILIAN

VEHICLES IN NO-FIRE ZONES’ 1,000 times, after which he will be PCS’d

to Shemya AFB, Alaska. 

The good news is that he only had 508 rounds of Ball Training Ammo and

not HEI (high explosive incendiary)!!

Great … but Richard has some doubts, and I voted Conservative at 0830 AST today out of negative reasoning, i.e. the others are all way worse. I want a party that will truly represent me and millions of other Canadians.
